FiEd is offering free books (along with treats) during Halloween in the Hills.
The perfect time is...NOW
As part of our commitment to foster reading skills in children and to encourage 15 minutes of daily reading aloud from birth to eight years old, FiEd is offering free books for children birth to eight.
Michelle Stizza’s FiEd is dedicated to encouraging reading and increasing financial literacy. According to Read Aloud, at the national level some 37 percent of children arrive at kindergarten without the skills necessary for lifetime learning and fewer than half (48 percent) of young children in the United States are read to daily. Further, research shows reading aloud is the single most important thing a parent can do to help a child prepare for reading and learning.
"We are excited to provide books to help encourage 15 minutes of daily reading aloud from birth to eight years old and to help children develop the necessary literacy skills to become successful throughout their lives,” Stizza said.
